Violet Chin is a filmmaker and activist passionate about media, storytelling, and social change. A student at L.A. County High School for the Arts, she has directed award-winning films and partnered with organizations like Get Lit to amplify underrepresented voices through the power of film. Her work in youth advocacy and public speaking has led her to roles with It Gets Better and Make Noise Today. This passion culminated in her election as California’s 78th Youth Governor, where she continues to champion youth leadership and equity.
