IMAN TORKIAN
Iman Torkian is a cellist and Senior in the Classical Instrumental Music Department at LACHSA. He began studying the cello at age 8 with Leah Metzler and is currently under the tutelage of acclaimed cellist and educator Dr. Richard Naill. Iman participates in collaborations around LA in both orchestral and chamber music settings, and has worked with non-classical ensembles as well. Iman is the youngest full-time member of the Roudaki Orchestra, performing during its inaugural season at venues such as UCLA’s Schoenberg Hall, and UCI’s Barclay Theater.
